After lunch we went to the Schmetterlinghaus (butterfly house). Butterfly pictures are fairly self-explanatory so this is mainly going to be a photo dump post.
First, some pictures from near the Albertina.
There are a lot of rabbits around the Albertina and in the advertising for the museum due to a piece by Albrecht Dürer in the collection. Unfortunately I didn't have time to visit the museum this time.
From there we went in the direction of the Museumsquartier.
BUTTERFLIES!
"Our silk flowers are sprayed with honey and serve to feed the butterflies."
I saw a bunch of different types of butterflies but this species was dominant at this time of year.
There were also some nice orchids.
There's a staircase to an elevated path. It was like a sauna up there, but I did get to see a monarch butterfly.
